Yohana Manning is one of the most prominent legal advisors in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin in May 2005 and his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Prairie View A&M University, Magna Cum Laude May 2002. He focuses his practice on restructuring, bankruptcy and litigation.
Yohana previously worked in the Mergers and Acquisition department of the Wall Street firm Davis Polk and Wardwell. Yohana also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers And Acquisitions department of Deutsche Bank AG in the London office. Yohana represents the Governing Board of the Water and Power Authority, several refinery contractors and the Republican Party of the Virgin Islands. Yohana also advises corporations in financial distress.
Yohana has tried nearly one hundred (100) cases to the bench or the jury in the local, state, and federal courts and successfully argued cases before the Virgin Islands Supreme Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
