Yohana Manning is one of the leading trial lawyers in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin in May 2005 and his Bachelor of Arts degree at The Prairie View A&M University, Magna Cum Laude May 2002. He focuses on general litigation, bankruptcy, commercial, employment, labor, environmental, insurance, financial, and real estate litigation areas. His experience spans malpractice, employment, personal injury, business, and dispute resolution, and has served clients from private citizens, organizations, government agencies, political organizations, and small business to enterprise-level organizations. Yohana’s extensive experience in managing litigation from case evaluation, preparation, strategic planning to trial execution is second to none. Yohana tried nearly one hundred (100) cases to the bench or the jury in the local, state, and federal courts and argued cases before the Virgin Islands Supreme Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He was appointed to two Third Circuit panels regarding the federal public defender’s office in St. Croix. Represented clients in the Virgin Islands and Texas in wide-ranging civil litigation, including but not limited to Title VII and other personal injury cases. Yohana serves as lead trial and appellate counsel to the MHS Law firm on a wide range of litigation, from class action defense, insurance defense, and other litigation matters. Has handled cases before litigation through appeal is significant cases.
