Attorney Charlotte S. Sheldon earned a B.S. in Public Relations at West Virginia University in her home state, where she was the President of her sorority, Delta Gamma. She then graduated from Savannah Law School cum laude in 2017. Attorney Sheldon was the Managing Editor of the Savannah Law Review and a member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, among other organizations.
Also in law school, Attorney Sheldon clerked for a Superior Court Judge, was an intern with General Counsel at Memorial University Hospital in Savannah, GA, and was a summer associate at two different law firms. Before moving to St. Croix in 2018 with her husband, Attorney Sheldon clerked for the Honorable David A. Lanphear in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and was a Legal Associate at Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, a non-profit entertainment firm in Nashville, Tennessee. Attorney Sheldon is licensed to practice in Tennessee, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the District Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
She has been at the forefront of our firm’s real estate practice since March 2020, showcasing her expertise and leadership abilities. In addition to her role in managing the probate department, she has expanded her scope to include transactional and business law, further demonstrating her versatility. Ms. Sheldon’s unwavering dedication and remarkable proficiency in multiple practice areas have earned her recognition as an up-and-coming legal professional.
