Alex Golubitsky is an experienced tax attorney. He has practiced tax law since 2007 and is licensed in multiple jurisdictions, Oregon, California, the United States Virgin Islands, Texas, and Virginia. He’s specialized in U.S. Virgin Islands territorial tax incentives since 2013 when he began working with Marjorie Rawls Roberts. P.C. Alex started his work in territorial tax incentives as a controversial attorney, litigating Virgin Islands residency issues in the United States Tax Court and various district courts.
Over the years, his practice has transitioned to one focused on tax planning for people and businesses relocating to the USVI to take advantage of the UVI Research and Technology Park’s Economic Development programs. Alex was in-house counsel for Brisa Max Holdings VI, LLC, a RTPark tenant from 2018 through 2020, at which point he transitioned back to private practice. After living in St. Thomas for the better part of a decade, Alex now resides in Richmond, VA.
He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a specialization in Taxation from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Reed College in 2003.
